The ski area in numbers
One of the largest ski areas in Europe with more than 650 km of pistes, the Portes du Soleil includes 12 resorts linked between France and Switzerland: 8 French resorts — Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Abondance, Avoriaz, Morzine, Montriond, Les Gets, St Jean d'Aulps — and 4 Swiss resorts — Champéry, Torgon, Morgins, Les Crosets-Val d'Illiez-Champoussin. Châtel sits at the heart of the ski area, with direct access to Avoriaz from the Pré la Joux sector, or to Morgins and Torgon from the Super Châtel sector.
